Lucie McMahon Is a filmmaker, programmer and teacher based in Melbourne, as well as a co founder to both the Dead End Film Festival, and Too Much World.

Is passionate about cinema that employs experimental or lo-fi techniques that offer marginalised members of the community access and affordability to tell underrepresented stories.

Is interested in the aesthetics that emerge when care is central to the filmmaking process.

Tutors and lectures in media and communications at RMIT, Youthworx and Collarts.

Is currently producing and directing a feature-length documentary called Things Will Be Different in collaboration with the Save Public Housing Collective and academic staff[1][2] from RMIT’s Centre for Urban Research, about displacement and Victoria’s Public Housing Renewal Program.
